Admission to Trinity Overlook Park is complimentary, though parking space is restricted. Fortunately, we haven’t encountered any difficulties in securing a parking spot. This location is especially ideal for capturing the beauty of several bridges, including the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and Margaret McDermott Bridge, as well as the breathtaking downtown Dallas skyline. Additionally, the Trinity River Trails intersect here, offering the opportunity for leisurely walks along paved pathways, where you can discover distinctive and picturesque settings.
Trinity River Bridge

To capture a photo from the Trinity River Bridge, you’ll have to park at Oak Cliff Founders Park and then take a stroll along S. Houston Street. The pedestrian walkway on the bridge ensures a reasonably safe journey. From there, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Downtown Skyline, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a trolley car in motion.
Jefferson BLVD Bridge

In this area you can take a photo of McDermott Bridge with Trees in the foreground. Image is better when the trees have dropped their leaves. Wear pants, grasses can get rather tall.
Ronald Kirk Pedestrian Bridge

Parking is conveniently accessible when visiting the Kirk Pedestrian Bridge. You’ll often find vendors and a lively crowd taking leisurely strolls, making it an excellent spot for portraits or photoshoots. However, it’s not an ideal location for capturing the Dallas skyline.
For a striking shot of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, it’s recommended to head to Trinity Overlook Park and walk along the Trinity River Trail, or take a stroll along Commerce St. While you can get a photo of the bridge from N. Beckley and Singleton Blvd, be aware that this area tends to be congested with traffic. If possible, consider a late-night visit on a Sunday, though you may still need to use Photoshop to remove unwanted obstructions from your photo.
Best Park and Walk Dallas Photography Location: Trammell Crow Park
