🌫️ Just before sunrise at Steinhagen Lake, I stepped into a world wrapped in fog—soft, silent, and surreal. The mist hung low over the water, cloaking everything in mystery. As dawn broke, the sky bloomed with gentle hues of blue and pink, and the fog began to dance and lift, slowly unveiling the reservoir’s quiet grace. It was a fleeting, magical moment where light and mist conspired to create a scene of serene wonder and stillness.

🌇 Sunset at Cedar Hill State Park offered a quiet spectacle. I framed Joe Pool Lake with Perch Pond in the foreground, where still waters mirrored the sky’s vibrant streaks of yellow and orange. The contrast between the intimate pond and the vast lake added visual depth, while soft evening light wrapped the entire scene in a warm, golden hush. We captured a striking image of the Tarrant County Courthouse from Sundance Square, a bustling spot that demands precise timing. As golden hour neared, the sky hinted at brilliance—storm clouds swirling with promise. We headed to a nearby spot, not to chase the sunset, but to meet it halfway.
